Senior Software Engineer

California is where our consulting services started and we’ve been working within and with the high-tech industry for more than 30 years. We designed several applications for our customers and constantly refine them. We are looking for talented, highly professional senior software engineer who work independently in an agile environment.

Permanent employment contract (full-time)

The position as executive assistant is full-time with a permanent contract.

Requirements

self-organized work on software projects in a heterogenous and international team
work out cost estimations for planned software projects
use your knowledge of recent web and software technologies as well as business applications to reach modern solutions
be familiar with test automation and quality assurance of individual software
be able to transfer customer’s requirements into models of object, data and process
develop software design and component architecture
modularize and realize those modules due to longstanding programming experience

Qualifications

master’s degree in informatics, computer science, information systems, or similar working experience
more than 5 years of experience in the field of project or product management (projects with big customers)
knowledge of Agile/Scrum method
strong communicative and interpersonal skills, including excellent writing and speaking skills in German and English
attention to details when completing tasks
experience in dealing with test automations
passion for high-quality, innovative web and software technologies as well as experience in working on highly frequented, top-class websites
experience using JIRA, Confluence, Asana and the like
comprehensive knowledge and experience of:
- Java 8 (and newer)
- J2EE
- Hibernate
- SOAP Services
- designing APIs using REST and SOAP Services and WSDLs
- using REST APIs
- design databases and performance (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- meta programming (MOF of OMG)
- Junit
- Jenkins
- developing container applications
- web applications and security (SSO, SAML)
